Macon to Melbourne
“I am delighted to have this highly competitive tournament with players of such high caliber in our community! It will be a spectacular opportunity, not just for Macon, but for all of Middle Georgia, to see championship tennis up close and personal! I’m excited about it!”
— The Honorable Robert Reichert, Mayor Macon-Bibb
Macon’s W.L. Amos Sr. Tennis Classic will be part of a six-tournament series (three men’s, three women’s), wherein the American who wins the highest number of ATP/WTA points will earn a Main Draw Singles Wild Card into the 2017 Australian Open.
